Private health funds and rebates
Accredited Mental Health Social Workers are highly skilled and regulated private practitioners who hold Medicare provider numbers. If you hold a policy with one of these funds, you may be eligible to claim benefits for the services I offer.

Contact your private health insurer to confirm your coverage details, including any waiting periods and the specific benefits available to you for services provided by Accredited Mental Health Social Workers.
Referral pathways
If you are seeking mental health support through an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker (AMHSW), you have some options:

Self referral—You can contact me directly to book an appointment. No referral is necessary if you are seeking support independently. Standard session fees apply.
​
GP referral—Your doctor can provide a referral for mental health services. Many health funds and Medicare programs such as the Better Access initiative require a GP referral to access funding/rebates for therapy sessions.
​
Private health fund referral—If you have private health insurance, you may be eligible to access services through your fund. Please contact your fund directly.
​
WorkCover—If your mental health challenges are work-related, you may be eligible for WorkCover support. AMHSWs are recognised providers for WorkCover claims in some regions. Please contact your employer or treating doctor for referral information.
​
Open Arms and Bupa ADF HSC—I accept referrals for veterans and their families who need support. If you are a current or former serving member of the Australian Defence Force or a family member, you can be referred to me through Open Arms or Bupa ADF HSC.

Acacia EAP—Referrals are welcome from your organisation or employer offering this Employee Assistance Program (EAP), which you can access through their referral process.
